This produces a grassy style in whiskeys like Glenlivet, but a deep abundant and sweet taste in Macallan, which works down very easily. Matured in a mix of American oak and European sherry oak to get a well balanced profile of dried fruit and lightweight oak spice. The palate is creamy with honey
